**Drones Showcased at Zhuhai Airshow 2024**
The Zhuhai Airshow 2024, which kicked off on November 12th and will last until November 17th, has presented a remarkable array of drones, demonstrating China's advanced drone technologies and their diverse applications.
### Lan Ying R6000
The Lan Ying R6000, developed by Shenzhen United Aircraft Technology Co., Ltd., is the world's first 6-ton tiltrotor drone . It was assembled and rolled off the production line in Wuhu United Aircraft's production workshop in Wuhu Aviation Industrial Park on October 11, 2024. With a maximum takeoff weight of 6 tons and a maximum payload capacity of 2 tons, it can carry up to 10 passengers. It has a maximum range of 4,000 kilometers, a maximum cruising speed of 550 kilometers per hour, and a maximum cruising altitude of 7,620 meters. This drone combines the vertical takeoff and landing capabilities of a helicopter with the high-speed cruising advantage of a fixed-wing aircraft, thanks to its tiltrotor configuration.
### GQ-1600 Unmanned Helicopter
The GQ-1600 unmanned helicopter, developed by Nanjing Aerospace Guoqi Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., a third-level subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, made its debut at the Zhuhai Airshow 2024. It is the company's latest large-payload unmanned helicopter, with a maximum takeoff weight of 1,600 kilograms and a maximum payload of 600 kilograms, making it one of the largest payload unmanned helicopters in China. The product features a tandem rotor and dual-engine design, offering a wide range of fuselage center of gravity configurations, and is characterized by its compact layout, large payload, long range, and strong wind resistance. It has a huge market demand and is mainly used in transportation, material delivery, and other application scenarios.
### GQ-680 Unmanned Helicopter
The GQ-680 unmanned helicopter has a maximum takeoff weight of 680 kilograms and a maximum effective payload of 260 kilograms, with a maximum altitude of 7,300 meters and a maximum flight time of 8 hours. All its performance indicators are in the leading position in China. It has been maturely applied in various application scenarios such as power patrol, forest fire prevention, emergency mapping, and logistics transportation. In August 2023, the GQ-680 unmanned helicopter system successfully completed a 200-kilogram material transportation across the sea with a delivery accuracy of 0.15 meters, demonstrating its ability to complete complex transportation support tasks in extreme environments such as at sea and on plateaus.
### GQ-580Z Unmanned Helicopter
The GQ-580Z unmanned helicopter is an upgraded version of the GQ-580 unmanned helicopter. It has a maximum takeoff weight of 700 kilograms and a maximum effective payload of 250 kilograms, with a maximum altitude of 7,000 meters and a maximum flight time of 8 hours. It is characterized by large payload, long range, and strong wind resistance, and can achieve shipboard takeoff and landing and formation flight. It is widely used in scenarios such as reconnaissance in plateaus and complex terrains, communication relay, and material rescue and transportation.
### GQ-320 Unmanned Helicopter
The GQ-320 unmanned helicopter adopts a tandem rotor design, with high engine efficiency and a wide range of fuselage center of gravity configurations, resulting in strong wind resistance. It has a maximum takeoff weight of 320 kilograms and a maximum effective payload of 100 kilograms, with a maximum altitude of 3,500 meters and a maximum flight time of 4 hours. In June 2021, the GQ-320 unmanned helicopter achieved shipboard takeoff and landing and formation flight, and its dual-stable electromagnet system and autonomous takeoff and landing technology are in the leading position in China. It has been widely used in scenarios such as electronic countermeasures, police patrol, marine environmental monitoring, and forest fire fighting.
### Jiutian Drone
The 10-ton Jiutian drone, introduced by AVIC, is a large reconnaissance and strike integrated drone. It is equipped with 8 heavy-duty hardpoints under its wings, showing an astonishing payload capacity. In addition, its large-sized heterogeneous honeycomb mission compartment can carry a large number of small drones, earning it the nickname "aircraft carrier in the air".
### Rainbow Drones
Aerospace Rainbow showcased several new models of drones at the Zhuhai Airshow 2024.
